"Wonderful waypoint on the way to Raja Ampat"

"The space is a very typical good quality hotel room, it was not very spacious but enough for our needs. The hotel has a pool and gym which we used as we stayed 2 nights. Breakfast (included) was wonderful and lunch and dinner (separate) was also very delicious. Earplugs can be handy as the mosque call to prayer starts very early and is repeated throughout the day."

"Really nice place but our villa had holes in the window screens and gaps in the walls that let the mosquitoes in and the cool air out. Like several places we stayed in Indonesia there was no top sheet and the blankets were too thick for us. Also, the lighting consisted of one naked bulb on the ceiling, with no reading light. So, this would have been a great stay if I had bought mosquito repellent, a tropical sleep sack, and my head lamp. "

"L'hotel est en chute libre.Il y avait tres peu de client, peut etre 3,4 chbres occupées max sur 51 chambres.Il faut faire de gros effort pour la restauration, tout est servi froid et de mauvais goût. J'ai eu droit a un asticot dans les legumes.Le beurre du pdj est rance.Tous les aliments sont a revoir car de tres mauvaise qualité. L'eau des bidons est conservé en plein soleil, meme si il le mette dans une grosse carafe, l'eau est chaude.Aucune boisson fraiche pas de jus de fruits le matin... il...

"Incredible rooftop terrace and pool. Amazing buffet breakfast options. Allowed us to check in early which we really appreciated. Helpful and friendly staff. ATM right outside the entrance which was convenient. "

"Clean rooms. Nice rooftop for eating and swimming. The only negative was the room had an extremely strong smell - like mold - and it wasn't nice to breathe the air in the room. "

"Most other hotels have very full breakfasts, but the FavHotel is below average. The facility is fine, but not well kept up. Sorong is hard to find a good hotel, so if its just to stay the night and move on, this is as good as any other."

The massage I received in my room however was terrible, the masseuse was definitely not properly trained. I almost feel as though I felt worse after the massage than before - not worth the value. "i think you need to read past reviews with a grain of salt. Similar to some Amazon reviewers, there are folks that just can't be satisfied. If you've ever stayed at a Motel 6 in the US, this place is leaps and bounds better. Sure, it lacks amenities, like a shelf in the shower for shampoo and soap. And if you demand a western-style breakfast, get over it - your'e traveling....in Indonesia...and it's free. If you're a budget traveler, this place rocks"

"The bed to sleep in wss fine and the breakfast slso offer some choices. The absolute downside of this hotel is the Karaoke bar on the top floor. It was so incredibly loud that we couldn't sleep until 2.a.m. minimum. The staff didn't really help us with this. So no recommendation. "
